As one of the well established medical centres in Te Atatu South, West Auckland, we have served
our community for many decades. This medical centre has always gone the extra mile to understand
the needs of their patients, by engaging the most knowledgeable doctors and staff.

Health Improvement Practitioner & Health Coach

Clinic announce a new services: introducing Health Improvement Practitioners (HIP), who are qualified health professionals, with experience in physical and mental health and have completed specialist training in the Te Tumu Waiora primary mental health model.

Ear Suction

Te Atatu South Medical Centre & Skin Clinic now offers micro-suction of ears and Professional assessment and treatment for:

Physiotherapy

TBI Health provides physiotherapy based at our premises. They have an experienced and friendly physiotherapist on-site and available for appointments on MONDAY, TUESDAY AND Friday. Ask your doctor for a referral to the TBI physiotherapist or contact TBI directly on 0800 329 824 to book your appointment.

Repeat Prescriptions

Many conditions are managed through the use of medium or long-term medications, which require repeat prescriptions.Our policy is that after 6 months you need to see a doctor to get your next prescription.

IUCD Insertion

The Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) is a highly effective birth control method. It is a small, T-shaped device inserted into the uterus by a healthcare professional.

Minor Accident Care

Te Atatu South Medical Centre is an ACC accredited Practice. This means we can treat accident related health needs and provide care at a reduced cost to yourself under ACC.

Minor Surgery

For cosmetic or therapeutic purposes we offer minor surgery for removal of skin lesions, lumps, cysts and abscesses as well as biopsies. Minor surgeries occur on Fridays.

Cervical Screening

Cervical smear tests are a vital component of women’s health care. It is recommended that all women who have ever been sexually active undergo regular cervical smear tests every three years, typically between the ages of 25 and 69.

For people who are 65 years of age, a free Shingles vaccine is available This will be free from your 65th birthday for that year but will not be funded before and after 65 years of age
